Digital Marketing Manager

Job Purpose

The overall scope of the position is to maintain and execute the cruise ship’s Digital Marketing and E-commerce activities including but not limited to developing strategy, content updates, Social media management, email marketing, display and programmatic campaigns, Metasearch and OTA optimization.

Reporting directly to GM or Director of Sales & Marketing and reporting to Regional E-commerce.

Primary Responsibilities

  1. Build Digital yearly plan and budget for the cruise ships across Direct & Indirect channels
  2. Contributing to Strategy, working closely with key stakeholders from Marketing, Sales, Revenue, PR, F&B
  3. Develop quarterly and yearly e-commerce and digital marketing plans covering all digital channels and levers (Direct and Indirect)
  4. Plan and execute all digital marketing activities including but not limited to SEO/SEA, emailing, social media, display, Metasearch and influencers
  5. Reporting and Analysis of Web Direct and Indirect performance
  6. Measure and report the performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  7. Ensure cruise ship’s presence across key Social platforms relevant to the source markets and social content production
  8. Handle the CRM and email Marketing with the third party tools.
  9. Monitor and assist in ensuring Rate parity together with the Revenue Director/Manager throughout all distribution channels
  10. Manage online reputation
  11. Review and monitor competitor set on a regular basis and maintain competitiveness in terms of content quality and offer appeal
  12. Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
  13. Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
  14. Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
  15. Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners
  16. Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate

Qualifications and Skills

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in E-Commerce / Digital Marketing in Hospitality or Retail
  • A degree in Hospitality Management or Marketing and Communications preferred
  • Excellent English, both verbal and written
  • Strong understanding of current digital marketing concepts, strategy and best practice
  • Excellent Presentation and customer relationship skills
  • Energetic and passionate to work
